RSSStand is in beta. Features and rules may change, and things may break now and then.

About RSSStand

RSSStand is a place where every blog gets to show up once a week, built on RSS. Like the spinning postcard racks at souvenir shops, every card gets its turn in the light. If you find one you like, take it home — subscribe in your own RSS reader.

The rules

How to join

Enter your feed URL on the join page to get a verification code. Then confirm the blog is yours in one of two ways:

  1. Put an rssstand.json file on your site (make one with the generator). It also holds your settings, like tags and this week's pick. Removing the file means leaving.
  2. Write an “I joined RSSStand!” post that includes the code. You can delete it after we confirm.

You can check how things are going on the status page.

Example rssstand.json
{
  "version": 0,
  "feed": "https://example.com/rss.xml",
  "verify": "rssstand-xxxxxxxx",
  "langs": ["ja", "en"],
  "tags_include": ["3dcg"],
  "tags_exclude": ["diary"],
  "pick": "https://example.com/posts/my-best-post",
  "contact": "https://mastodon.example/@me"
}

About AI

This service uses AI to help with moderation, and welcomes blogs that use AI in their work. If that's not for you, that's completely okay — this place may just not be the right fit.

We use a decision model on Cloudflare Workers AI (Clef) for tagging and content checks. It reads the title and the beginning of each post we're about to show, picks tags from a fixed list, and puts questionable posts on hold. A person reviews anything on hold before deciding.

What can't join

If a blog is paused or on hold, the reason appears on its status page.
